Yoga

Yoga means "to unite". It has to do with balancing the body, mind and spirit in one common point. When you find yourself in the intersection of these three axis, you will feel inner peace. And when you connect your center point with the center point of others, you will create harmony.

Yoga's physical postures stretch and twist the muscles, expulsing accumulated toxins. Yoga does not neglect any part of the body, so that every cell and every tissue can be renewed by a greater flow of oxygenated blood and pure energy.

Yoga Therapy

We offer therapeutic courses for individuals, couples and groups. A program will be designed to suit the individual needs of each person requiring yoga therapy.

Vinyasa yoga is a dynamic form of yoga that connects movement and breath. Vinyasa creates heat in the body, which leads to purification of the body through increased circulation and sweating. It also improves flexibility, as well as tendon and hard tissue strength.

Hot yoga is a series of postures and breathing exercises that one completes while applying heat to the lungs and muscle tissues using hot air and/or infrared rays. Maintaining the muscle tissues hot during the entire excercise helps the practicioner to relax deeper into each posture, which allows greater blood flow, better oxygenation and a more effective detoxification.

Hot yoga systematically warms, stretches and strengthens the major muscle groups. It works the body from the inside out, from the micro to the macro level. All internal organs and glands are stimulated, balancing the body's natural chemical and hormonal levels. Much attention is given to the spine and this produces a profoundly beneficial effect on the nervous system. The heated environment reduces risk of injury and facilitates the release of bodily toxins.

Harmonizing breath with movement cultivates strength, agility and flexibility. The practice builds physical co-ordination and mental focus, taking students to new levels of fitness. It works the entire body, with an emphasis on upper body strength.

Yoga provides the system for each person to massage herself or himself internally. But occasionally one prefers that an experienced professional take over. A Yoga Massage will give you many of the benefits of yoga without any effort on your part.

When to practice yoga

It is worth mentioning that yoga is a way of living 24 hours per day. As for the hour that you dedicate to excercise your body, you may choose any time that is convenient, but keep in mind these four special times: sunrise, daytime, sunset, and night. Remember that the universal energy available to you for your practice will be distinct during these four times.
